The video delivers fresh imagery to ‘Contact’, the 2013 track from ‘Random Access Memories’, inside Fortnite’s expansive experience

Daft Punk’s recent collaboration with the wildly popular video game Fortnite has led to a brand-new music video for the duo’s track ‘Contact’.

The video opens with astronauts communicating with one another before hurtling through space at high velocity.

Originally released on Daft Punk’s 2013 album ‘Random Access Memories’, ‘Contact’ now arrives with fresh visuals that also nod to the duo’s 2003 anime feature created to accompany their landmark album ‘Discovery’.

Produced by Epic Games in partnership with Magnopus, the new visual lands as part of the Daft Punk Experience, which launched in Fortnite in September. The experience includes 31 tracks from the duo’s catalogue, each woven into a series of interactive rooms across the game. Players can also craft their own mashups, send their avatars dancing at a digital “Daft Club” featuring footage from the “Alive” tour and the “Alive 2007” live album, and even create Lego-style music videos centred on the band.
