Horst Arts & Music has announced the details of its third annual club season, taking place from 4 October 2025 through 15 March 2026 at ASIAT Park in Vilvoorde. Across five 24-hour weekenders, the programme will unfold over three stages, with the biggest change being a completely reworked main room.
Architects Laura Muyldermans and Sophia Holst, together with audiovisual artist Ofer Smilansky, took an integrated approach to the redesign, treating structure and light as equal elements. Reusing industrial materials from earlier editions, the team crafted a more fluid and open spatial environment where shadow, texture and reflection shape the experience. The topographic stage design, split into ground, sky and celestial sphere, reflects a layered relationship between sound and space, resonating with the festival’s polyrhythmic ethos.
Beyond the main room, the Rain Room, previously revamped by Spanish studio BURR, offers a whimsical setting of yellow curtains, a canopy and a pond installation. The Garage, stripped to its essentials, serves as an intimate hideaway dedicated to sonic clarity. In between, scenographer Isabel Brems has created a foam-filled oasis and playful liminal zones, while the club’s playroom returns in a newly imagined form.
In a statement reflecting on the season’s direction, Horst's head of music Simon Nowak remarked, "For the upcoming season there will be a noticeable change. Creating space to dive deeper into genres with extended sets and skilled DJs, exceptional local talent, and prolific music connoisseurs."
With these scenographic interventions, Horst Arts & Music continues to strengthen its position as a meeting point for architecture, art and music, setting the stage for an immersive 2025–26 season.
