Up to 4,200 dancers will be welcomed into a blacked-out, acoustically tuned space
Junction 2 has unveiled a new stage concept for its 2025 edition, replacing The Dome with a large-scale structure named The Hangar.
Developed in collaboration with TicketSwap, The Hangar has been introduced as “one of our most ambitious projects yet,” offering a bold reimagining of the lower section of Boston Manor Park. Standing 14 metres tall and 65 metres long, this new space is designed to become a central feature of the festival site.
As stated in the announcement video, “The Hangar is one of our most ambitious projects yet, a vast tubular structure designed to shelter the dancefloor in darkness and bathe it in mesmerising lights. Standing 14m tall and stretching 65m long, it will provide a new focal point for the festival across the weekend. The Hangar will host iconic closing sets. Dead Mouse on Friday, Nina Kravitz on Saturday and Joseph Capriati on Sunday.”
This new space is built to accommodate up to 4,200 dancers and features a state-of-the-art acoustic sound system with 16 subs and 44 line array boxes. A dance platform encircling the DJ booth invites audiences to “watch your favourite artist up close and personal.” Organisers say the space marks a complete transformation of the site, designed to enhance both scale and intimacy for the 2025 edition.
Junction 2 Festival will take place from 25 to 27 July 2025.
