Featuring 36 integrated speakers on hand-sourced 16oz denim, the brand’s Rokit Pants are showcased alongside a new monitor exoskeleton initially designed for 5–8 inch KRK Rokit, Yamaha and Adam models
Moldavite Artefacts has revealed two new design pieces: the speaker-laden Rokit Pants and an exoskeleton created for 5-8 inch studio monitors.
Operating as a design collective with a strong presence across online and creative communities, Moldavite Artefacts is known for treating audio-related gear as art objects rather than conventional tools. The brand describes itself as an experimental design house centred around fashion, music and world-building.
The newly revealed Rokit Pants reflects that approach vividly: the garment incorporates 36 individual speakers mounted onto hand-sourced 16oz denim, held in place with custom metal hardware and 3D-printed housings designed specifically to clamp each speaker securely to the fabric. The brand notes that the construction process required extensive experimentation due to the weight and engineering challenges involved.
In parallel, Moldavite Artefacts has unveiled a new monitor exoskeleton initially designed for 5–8 inch models from KRK Rokit, Yamaha and Adam, extending the brand’s ongoing focus on turning familiar equipment into sculptural artefacts. The upcoming design joins an existing series of hardware reinterpretations, including exoskeletons for the Pioneer CDJ-3000, DJM-V10, Xone:96, and several custom USB exoskeletons, all currently available through the brand’s online shop.
Both new pieces continue the brand’s push into sculptural, sound-influenced design at the intersection of fashion, hardware and subcultural aesthetics.
