The David Lynch-designed Paris venue will welcome a month of DJ sets and live performances from artists including The Avalanches, Foster the People, Logic1000 and Sofia Kourtesis
David Lynch-designed Paris club Silencio is set to stage this year’s Summer Festival, bringing together a month-long programme of DJ sets spanning electronic music, indie, leftfield pop and global club culture. Taking place from 23 July to 22 August, the series will see the multidisciplinary venue transform its Rue Montmartre home into a 15-night celebration of dance music, extending the curatorial ethos that has defined the club since it opened in 2011.
The programme is set to open with a performance from Foster the People on 23 July, before welcoming Mira, Matias Aguayo, The Hellp, Ivan Smagghe, Young Marco, Janeret, Yamagucci, The Dare, The Avalanches, Marie Davidson, Sofia Kourtesis, Logic1000, Antal, Roman Flügel and Major League Djz across the month, reflecting a programme that moves fluidly between house, techno, indie, alternative dance and global club sounds.
Inspired by the fictional Club Silencio in David Lynch's 2001 film Mulholland Drive, the club has become a hub for contemporary art, architecture, cinema, fashion and music. Its Summer Festival continues that multidisciplinary approach with a different artist headlining each night of the programme.
