The integrated light panel further elevates the system into a functional design object
TRETTITRE has successfully concluded the Kickstarter campaign for its wall-mounted retro-inspired audio system, raising $1,820,253 from 4,333 backers at the time of writing, surpassing its original $3,000 funding goal by more than 60,000%.
Billed as a wall-mounted vinyl, CD and cassette system that brings the golden era straight into your living room, the audio system combines a turntable, CD player and cassette deck with contemporary wireless streaming capabilities. Rather than concealing physical media components, its modular design places them on display, drawing on the visual language of vintage hi-fi while incorporating Bluetooth connectivity and a minimalist, gallery-inspired aesthetic.
The system comprises three dedicated playback units for vinyl records, compact discs and cassette tapes, all mounted on a magnetic wall rack designed to integrate music hardware into interior spaces. According to TRETTITRE, the concept was developed to bridge analogue listening formats with modern wireless convenience while celebrating physical music collections as part of the home.
One of the system's more distinctive features is its integrated ambient lighting. A diffused rear light panel allows the entire player to glow softly, while adjustable lighting effects transform the spinning record into a dynamic visual centrepiece that casts subtle moving shadows. The result is a listening object conceived as both an audio system and a piece of interior design, equally suited to late-night listening sessions or serving as a soft ambient light source when not in use.
The campaign gained momentum almost immediately after launch, reaching its initial funding target within its first day before continuing to attract thousands of backers throughout its run. During the campaign, TRETTITRE also announced that trial production had begun, signalling the project's transition from crowdfunding to manufacturing.
Shipping has commenced, and late pledges are still available via Kickstarter here.
